you. me. (please)

Don't you hate it when someone brings something up just so they can talk about themselves? Like, imagine if I was to ask you "hey buddy, do you like writing and reading and drawings?"

Then, before you could even answer I'd say:

"That's good, because I've just finished making this sweet new mini-book. It's called 'You. Me. (Please)' and it features a whole bunch of short stories and writing from both me and the wonderfully amazing Ella Birdsey. She's awesome, I think you'd like her. Anyway, as I was saying, there are stories involving flowers, almonds and high-fives. Things like that. And what's more, the first five copies have special hand-drawn covers from Nathan White, Ed Davis, Lewis Smith and The White Jerrapin. Check them out. Oh, and if you want one just send me an email and we can talk. My email is at the side of the blog. I might have to ask you for £2 though, because that's about how much they cost to make - I hope you don't mind."

Wouldn't it be terrible if I did something like that?
